Introduction to Flight Delay Expert

Flight Delay Expert Who we are?

Flight Delay Expert, we pride ourselves on helping people process claim for delayed flight. We can get a claim processed if your flight has been delayed, cancelled, rerouted or even if they've denied you boarding!
Checking if you are eligible for flight delay compensation only takes a couple of moments and we take no personal data, all we need to check is the date of your delay and the places you were departing and arriving at. You will also need your flight number and booking reference number in order for us to process your flight delay compensation claim.
If you were travelling with other people, let's say there were you and 5 others, then you would only need to put in 1 flight delay claim and the other 5 people would get their claim processed too!
If your flight has been delayed for 3+ hours then your airline has a duty of care towards you.
Some airlines offer a "welfare package", for flight delays over 3 hours, which consists of food, drinks, 2 phone calls, and if your flight delay is overnight then accommodation, food at the accommodation and transport to and from the accommodation must be provided. This is not classed as compensation from the airline, no matter how much the vouchers are (usually just enough to feed one person) so if you have had any flight delays and received one of these packages then please do get in contact!

What to expect when you claim for a delayed flight directly through the airline

If your flight delays and you are waiting around for hours just to be stuck on a plane for even longer is tiring, even though you aren't really doing anything! Especially if you have young children and are stuck there for 6 hours, or even overnight!
If you have a delayed flight of 3 hours or more then your airline has a duty of care to give you free food and drink vouchers for the inconvenience, and if your Delayed Flight is overnight, then their duty of care is to pay for you to sleep in a hotel near the airport, and also to give you the vouchers. Even if you have received these vouchers or/and been giving overnight accommodation then you can still claim flight delay compensation
So, for example, if your flight has been delayed overnight because there was a technical problem with the plane and they couldn't fix it, then yes, you are eligible to make a claim. But if your flight was delayed 179 minutes due to a storm then you would not be eligible. Or if you were coming to London from Paris on a British Airways flight and the delay duration and reason met the criteria set by the EU then you could claim for delayed flight. But you would not be able to claim delayed flight compensation if you are coming from India to Manchester on an Air India flight, even if the delay and reason was eligible.

Eligibility to get Cancelled Flight Compensation
Can you imagine getting really excited to get away, and then getting to the airport to be told your flight is cancelled? It's sure to grind your gears!
If you have booked a flight, but been told less than 48 hours before your flight that it has been cancelled due to a fault of the airline then you are eligible to claim cancelled flight compensation.
If you get to the airport and you are told to go home then you 100% are eligible for cancelled flight compensation. If you have a cancelled flight and the airline offer you an alternative flight, but you end up being more than 3 hours delayed to your destination after your original scheduled arrival then you can still claim compensation under the rules of a flight delay, not a cancellation.
